AHÍNCO (film)
  • “Ahínco” is a short film by Mexican choreographer-director Camila Arroyo that reimagines a choreographic performance, translating it from the stage to the screen. Through the interplay of autofiction and self-direction, the film adapts a choreographic exploration of effort, persistence, memory, rest, and observation. The choreography of both the bodies and the camera delves into the tensions and pleasures of observing and being observed, of becoming both hunter and prey.
